Treatment For Photography Project

Treatment Photography

1. Type of production and brief details on Subject/Concept:

The production of photography I’m looking at producing is 'in motion' because i like the idea of objects moving in the picture and the effect it gives makes the photo seem surreal and looks artistic, it also gives a new feeling to the object when its created through an effect such as in motion, i want to create my pictures outside with natural elements and some photography with cars to get the motion effect on the photo too.

2. Facilities: What facilities do you need for this project list all including software and hardware for the whole project

I'm going to use photoshop to edit my pictures, not alot of adjusting just enough to crop the image maybe to adjust the brightness if its quite dark, I also will need to move the photo's onto a memory stick so i can store the images and then move them between computers to edit.

3. Finance: If you produced this project outside of the college you need to show how much would it cost to hire the equipment that you intend to use.

SLR Camera - £37 for weekend

Battery Pack - £9 for weekend

Tripod - £4 for weekend

4. Contributors: Who do you need to help this for you project? This includes talent and crew.

I will probably do my project on my own as it's going to be me taking the pictures and wont need alot of equipment to take with me as i'm going to be using natural light as it will all be outside.

5. Codes of practice and regulation: What regulations to you need to be aware of. Think about college policy as well as regulatory bodies that you looked at in assignment 2, Worksheet 1.6 Regulation and Safety notes

Theres a few regulations i would have to take in consideration because as i'm going to be outside and taking pictures i would have to be cautious as i will be near a road so hazards have to be assessed, also as I will be using the computer to edit my pictures i would have to be careful of eye strain, the various regulations i would have to look at are:

Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (1998), Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992

6. Presentation: How will you present the pictures? Will you include a soundtrack, think about copy write issues etc.

I want to present my pictures as a slideshow for the end piece as this will piece together all my pictures and make the project look professional.

In Motion Photography

Im going with the idea of doing motion photography i like the idea of making objects look really surreal whilst taking the picture. I'm looking at having a natural element in my photos whist using the movement to my advantage whilst taking pictures maybe of birds moving, trees in a bizarre way like the picture i have to the left. I also may include motion pictures of vehicles as i like the way it shows the trail of light whilst the car is moving and gives a really artistic feel to the photo, i'll blend these ideas into my final piece of photography.
